Victorian Etruscan Revival mourning locket, this pendant with a secret locket is a beautiful example of the Grand Period circa 1860 - 1885. A small shell cameo is framed by an ornate base with incredible metal work, that opens to reveal an inner glass framed compartment which once would have held hair or special memento of a lost loved one.
The pendant is rolled gold/gold filled and measures 2.25” x 1.25” and weighs 14.35 grams. In very good overall condition.
